Anomic Suicide:

When a person’s thinks that he is isolated, helpless, worthless he might indulge in suicide.

Altrustic suicide:

Altruistic suicide is an attempt to help others for the survival and welfare of others or community.

Egoistic Suicide:

When a person is having interpersonal problems with close relatives he might indulge in suicide.

Generally aggression is the basic cause for suicide. When a person is not in a position to show his aggression towards others he might commit suicide. Suicidal attempts are more common among women and people with borderline personality disorder. Completed suicide is more common among men.

Depressive people are more prone to commit suicide. Psychotic patients with paranoid fear or threatening hallucinatory voices are also prone to commit suicide.
